Trainee Officer

Job Description

 A Trainee Officer (Distribution Center) is responsible for supervising the day to-day operational activities within a warehouse, ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate

This role bridges the gap between floor Operations and management, focusing on inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and compliance with safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage and dispatch of materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping in ERP/WMS systems and resolve discrepancies

2) Documentation: Prepare and manage documentation, including Goods Received Notes (GRN), delivery challans, and shipping documents

3) Order Fulfillment: Supervise picking and loading of shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery to our stores

4) Team Handling: Monitor, train and supervise reporting staff, loaders-Unloaders to maintain productivity and compliance with standard operating procedures (50Ps)

5) Safety & Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment

6) Operational Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce waste, and enhance warehouse efficiency & productivity

Key Qualifications and Skills:

1) Experience: Fresher will good communication & MS Office proficiency can apply. 2-3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution operations preferred.

2) Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)

3) Equipment Knowledge: Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, Pallet Trucks, and scanners

4) Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

5) Education: A Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. A High School Certificate / Diploma can be considered for the candidate

right 6) Workplace: Comfort working in environments with fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold). Ability to stand/walk for extended periods

Salary Component & Benefits:

Annual CTC-3.20 LPA (Includes PF, ESIC, Attendance Incentives, Accuracy Incentives) Bus Facility available
