Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Counsellor to assist patients at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital. The Counsellor will act as a bridge between the patients and the medical team, ensuring patients receive clear guidance, support, and information regarding eye care procedures and hospital services.

Key Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and provide guidance regarding hospital services and treatments.
Explain treatment plans, surgical procedures, and pre/post-operative care instructions to patients and their families.
Address patient queries, concerns, and apprehensions empathetically.
Maintain accurate patient records and update case files in hospital management systems.
Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Follow up with patients post-treatment for feedback, appointments, and further care.
Promote hospital services and explain available packages, discounts, and health camps.
Ensure patient satisfaction and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic, patient-focused, and professional demeanor.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Basic computer skills for maintaining patient records and hospital software.

Preferred Attributes:
Experience in healthcare counselling, especially in eye care or hospitals.
Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures is an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment.
