Job Description
The Office Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the construction company. The role involves handling documentation, coordinating with site teams, maintaining records, managing office supplies, and assisting management with operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Handle daily office administration and clerical activities
Maintain project files, contracts, invoices, and construction documents
Coordinate with site engineers, vendors, contractors, and suppliers
Manage incoming calls, emails, couriers, and office correspondence
Prepare reports, quotations, purchase orders, and data entries
Maintain attendance records and staff documentation
Assist in billing, vendor payments, and expense tracking
Organize meetings, schedules, and appointments
Maintain office supplies and coordinate procurement requirements
Support HR and accounts teams with administrative tasks
Ensure proper filing and document control for ongoing projects
Required Skills
Good communication and coordination skills
Basic knowledge of office administration
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Data entry and documentation skills
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Qualifications
Graduate or Higher Secondary pass
1–3 years of office/admin experience preferred
Experience in construction, real estate, or infrastructure industry is an advantage
