Job Description

1. Academic Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in core subjects (Language, Mathematics, EVS, etc.)
Use creative teaching methods (storytelling, activities, visual aids) to enhance learning
Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and observations
Maintain academic records and prepare report cards

2. Role as Primary Mother Teacher:
Act as a caregiver and mentor, ensuring students feel safe, valued, and supported
Monitor students’ emotional well-being and social behavior
Instill discipline, good manners, and moral values
Address individual student needs with patience and empathy

3. Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Encourage participation, curiosity, and confidence among students
Manage classroom behavior effectively and constructively

4. Student Development:
Focus on holistic development: cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth
Identify learning difficulties or behavioral concerns and take appropriate action
Support extracurricular activities, events, and school programs

5. Parent Communication:
Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress and well-being
Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide guidance for home support
Build strong relationships with families to support student development

6. Administrative Duties:
Maintain attendance records and student portfolios
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
Follow school policies, safety guidelines, and curriculum standards
