Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Repairs
Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and fixtures.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore systems promptly.
Maintain power distribution systems, transformers, panels, and circuit breakers
Preventive Maintenance
Execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
Maintain records/logs of maintenance work performed.
Identify potential issues and take corrective actions proactively.
Equipment Handling
Maintain and repair HVAC electrical components, kitchen equipment, laundry systems, elevators (basic electrical checks), and guest room utilities.
Ensure proper functioning of backup systems such as generators and UPS.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all electrical safety standards and hotel policies.
Ensure compliance with local electrical regulations and fire safety norms.
Use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while working.
Energy Management
Monitor energy consumption and recommend efficiency improvements.
Support initiatives for energy conservation and sustainability.
Coordination
Work closely with other maintenance staff and departments.
Assist external contractors/vendors during major repairs or installations.
Emergency Handling
Respond quickly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
Ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations and guest services.
