Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Ensure all areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff.
Prepare duty rosters and manage staff scheduling.
Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
Quality Control
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation.
Handle guest feedback and complaints related to housekeeping promptly.
Ensure adherence to brand standards (if applicable).
Inventory & Cost Control
Manage inventory of linen, uniforms, and cleaning supplies.
Control expenses and minimize wastage.
Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
Maintenance Coordination
Report and follow up on maintenance issues in rooms and public areas.
Coordinate with the Engineering department for repairs and upkeep.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Train staff on proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Maintain MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and safety procedures.
Guest Experience
Ensure rooms are guest-ready at all times.
Maintain personalized service standards for VIP guests.
Collaborate with Front Office for room status updates.
Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
5–8 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
Experience in hotels, resorts, or large hospitality establishments preferred.
