Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Operate billing counter and POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently
Scan products and ensure accurate pricing and quantity
Handle cash, UPI, card payments, and other digital transactions
Issue bills, receipts, and process returns or exchanges as per store policy
Maintain accuracy in cash handling and balance cash drawer at shift end
Ensure quick checkout to reduce customer waiting time
Assist customers with billing-related queries and offers/discounts
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter
Coordinate with floor staff for price checks or product issues
Follow company policies regarding billing, refunds, and fraud prevention

Skills & Requirements:
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems
Good numerical and calculation skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and customer handling skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Honest, responsible, and trustworthy

Qualifications:
Minimum 10th / 12th pass
0–2 years of experience in cashier or retail billing role (freshers can apply)
Experience in retail stores or supermarkets is an advantage
