Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and interpret cost data related to materials, labor, and overhead
Prepare cost reports, budgets, and forecasts
Monitor production costs and identify areas for cost reduction
Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs with budgeted costs
Assist in pricing decisions and profitability analysis
Maintain cost accounting systems and ensure accuracy of financial records
Work with management to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Skills Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of accounting principles and cost accounting methods
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and reporting skills
