Content Writer – Social Media at Highland Groups

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Develop engaging and impactful content for Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and other digital platforms.
🔹 Write social media posts, captions, short-form content, campaign messages and public communication content.
🔹 Convert events, activities and initiatives into engaging social media content.
🔹 Prepare creative content for important occasions, festivals, events, campaigns and awareness initiatives.
🔹 Coordinate with social media, design, video and other teams for timely content creation and publishing.
🔹 Develop creative content ideas to increase audience engagement and digital reach.
🔹 Monitor social media trends, hashtags and relevant conversations to identify content opportunities.
🔹 Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency and grammatical correctness.
🔹 Track content performance and provide inputs to improve engagement and reach.

🎯 Candidate Profile
✅ Graduate in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing or a related field.
✅ 4+ years of experience in content writing, social media, digital media, journalism or communications.
✅ Excellent Odia and English writing skills; knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.
✅ Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital trends and content formats.
✅ Creative mindset with strong writing, editing and research skills.
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
