Job Description
Key Responsibility
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in rural and semi-urban markets
- Promote and sell agricultural equipment such as tractors, tillers, harvesters, and irrigation tools
- Build and maintain relationships with farmers, dealers, and channel partners
- Conduct product demonstrations and field trials for customers
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences
- Organize promotional activities like farmer meetings, exhibitions, and demo days
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and after-sales support
- Prepare sales reports and maintain customer databases
Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development (preferably in agri-inputs or equipment)
- Strong understanding of farming practices and rural markets
- Good communication and negotiation skills
Ability to travel extensively in assigned territories
