About the Role

We are seeking a Machine Operator to support safe, efficient production at a plastic manufacturing plant. The role involves operating assigned plastic-processing machinery, monitoring product quality, and maintaining accurate production records. This is a full-time, on-site position suitable for candidates with 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.Fresher Graduate & Undergraduate can apply.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, start, operate, and shut down assigned machinery according to approved standard operating procedures.
Prepare and feed plastic raw materials, masterbatch, and approved reprocessed material according to production instructions.
Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, cycle time, and output; make adjustments only within authorized limits.
Inspect finished components for defects such as flash, short shots, warpage, discoloration, or dimensional variation, as applicable to the process.
Record production quantities, rejection rates, material consumption, and machine downtime accurately.
Support mold or die changeovers and routine machine cleaning under appropriate supervision.
Identify abnormal machine behavior, report breakdowns promptly, and coordinate with maintenance personnel.
Follow PPE requirements, machine-guarding rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and workplace housekeeping standards.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet output targets while minimizing scrap and rework.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–3 years of hands-on machine operation experience, Freshers can apply .
Practical experience with at least one relevant process, such as injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding, depending on the assigned equipment.
Basic understanding of plastic materials, machine settings, and common manufacturing defects.
Ability to follow work instructions, perform basic calculations, and maintain production records.
Ability to use basic measuring tools such as vernier calipers and gauges.
Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
Willingness to work rotational shifts, where required, and perform shop-floor duties safely.
10th or 12th standard completion; an ITI certificate or relevant technical qualification is preferred.

Nice to Have

ITI training in Fitter, Machinist, or a related trade, or a diploma in Plastics Technology.
Exposure to mold or die changeovers, material drying, and auxiliary equipment.
Familiarity with 5S, preventive maintenance checks, and scrap-reduction practices.
Experience working with production targets and documented quality procedures.

Suggested annual salary: INR 1,80,000–3,00,000, subject to experience, equipment expertise, plant location, and employer confirmation.
