Job Description
🧰 Key Responsibilities
🔩 Welding Work
Perform welding (MIG, TIG, ARC) on agricultural machinery like:
-Tractors
- Ploughs
- Harvesters
- Repair broken metal parts and structures
- Cut and join metal components using gas cutters and welding machines
👉 Welders must follow drawings and ensure strong, defect-free joints
⚙️ Fitting & Assembly
Assemble and fit machine parts (gear, shafts, frames)
Install and align agricultural equipment components
Use tools like spanners, grinders, drilling machines
👉 Fitters ensure proper alignment and functioning of parts
🔍 Maintenance & Repair
Diagnose faults in farm equipment
Repair worn-out or damaged machine parts
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and machines
🎓 Requirements
ITI in Fitter/Welder or similar trade (preferred)
Basic knowledge of welding techniques (MIG/TIG/ARC)
Ability to read technical drawings
Physical fitness for manual work
